Here Are Some Top Tips to Create a Relaxing and Welcoming Bathroom

This is the best time to transform your bathroom into a welcoming space. We share our top tips for bathroom heating.

There are many reasons to heat your bathroom

There is nothing worse than starting your morning cold and waiting for the shower to heat up.

Heating your bathroom not only creates a cosy space in the winter but also reduces humidity by evaporating moisture. This helps prevent mould and mildew growth and allows you to reuse towels.

Heated Towel Rails

Heated towel rails are the best way to keep towels clean and toasty. You can find heated towel rails in a variety of sizes and styles to complement any bathroom.

Install your heated towel rail as close as possible to the shower or bath to save yourself the effort of walking across the bathroom to retrieve your towel.

The central heating system heats heated towel rails in the same manner as normal radiators. They can only be used when the heating is turned on.

You can still have warm towels throughout the year by installing a heating element or an electrically heated towel rail.

Designer Radiators

Designer radiators come in a variety of sizes and styles. Consider the size of your bathroom when choosing a designer radiator. The more spacious the bathroom, the greater the BTU heat output required to heat it.

Vertical designer radiators work well in small bathrooms because they make the most of limited wall space and offer a unique alternative to a horizontal design.

Underfloor Heating

Underfloor heating is a great option if you are looking for luxury and the opportunity to step on a warm floor.

A bathroom with an underfloor heating system has the additional benefit of providing continuous heat throughout the entire space.

There are two types: electrical heating cables, mats, and a system that runs off the central heating. Warm water flows through pipes beneath the floor, allowing heat to radiate upwards.

You may also want to install underfloor heating. This will allow you to dry towels and keep them warm.
